Privacy Policy for Prompture

Last updated: January 1st, 2026

Prompture ("Prompture", "we", "us", "our") provides a mobile application that helps users browse and save prompt templates and generate images using AI (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.

Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to information processed when you use the Prompture App, our related services, and our support channels.

Age requirement and children's privacy (13+)

Prompture is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you are under 13, do not use the App or provide any personal information. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it as soon as reasonably possible.

If you are a parent/guardian and believe a child has provided personal information to Prompture, contact us at support@prompture.app.

Information we collect

A) Account and profile information

  • Account identifier and email address (for sign-in and account management).
  • Username (required). We use this to identify you in the App and to support community features, including upcoming functionality where users can post prompts and interact with others.
  • Gender (required). We use this to personalize the experience, including recommending or prioritizing relevant prompt templates and image prompts based on the information you provide.
  • Avatar (optional, if you choose to upload one).
  • Date of birth (optional, if you choose to provide it). If provided, we may use it to help confirm eligibility (13+) and improve account safety.

B) User content and inputs

  • Prompts and text you create, edit, or save in the App.
  • Collections and organizational data you create (such as collection names and saved items).
  • Images you upload as reference images (if you choose to upload them).
  • Images generated through the App and related metadata (such as resolution, format, and generation settings).

C) Usage and interaction data

  • Actions within the App such as viewing, copying, liking, favoriting, sharing, and saving templates.
  • Timestamps and interaction counts associated with these actions.

D) Device and technical information

  • App version and basic device/OS information (used for compatibility, troubleshooting, fraud prevention, and support).
  • Device identifiers and technical signals (for example, to keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and debug issues).
  • Error logs and operational events necessary to keep the service reliable and secure.

E) Purchases, subscriptions, and credits (if/when enabled)

  • Records related to purchases and subscriptions (such as product identifiers, transaction IDs, status, and amounts).
  • Credit balance and credit transaction history (such as credits spent on generations, bonuses, refunds, and adjustments).
  • Payment processing is handled by the relevant app store (for example, Google Play). We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide core features (account access, templates, saved prompts, collections, and image generation).
  • Provide profile and community functionality (including displaying your username and profile information in community areas, if/when you participate).
  • Personalize recommendations (including suggesting prompt templates and image prompts based on profile information such as gender).
  • Operate and improve the App (performance, reliability, debugging, and feature enhancements).
  • Maintain account security, prevent fraud/abuse, and enforce policies.
  • Provide customer support and respond to user requests.
  • Manage credits, subscriptions, and entitlements (if/when enabled).
  • Comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.

Community visibility

If you use community features (when available), your username and any content you choose to post (such as prompts, comments, or reactions) may be visible to other users. You can avoid sharing personal information in community posts.

AI image generation and data sent to AI providers

When you request image generation, we may send the following to AI providers to complete your request:

  • Prompt text and generation settings you provide.
  • Any reference images you choose to upload and use.
  • Technical parameters such as resolution, aspect ratio, and quality.

We use the following AI image generation APIs:

  • gpt-image-1
  • gemini-2.5-flash-image

We only send data that is necessary to generate the requested output and operate the feature.

Important: avoid including sensitive personal information (for example: government IDs, banking details, precise location, medical info) in prompts or reference images. Your inputs may be processed by third-party AI providers to return results.

Service providers we use

We use providers as necessary to operate the App, such as:

  • Supabase (database, authentication, backend services, and file storage)
  • Resend (transactional email delivery for account and support-related messages)
  • Namecheap (domain and private email infrastructure)
  • gpt-image-1 and gemini-2.5-flash-image APIs (image generation processing)

We may also use analytics and crash/error reporting tools to understand performance and reliability. If we do, we use them to diagnose issues and improve the App (not to sell your data).

How we share information

We do not sell personal information.

We share information only:

  • With service providers (like those listed above) to operate the App on our behalf.
  • When required by law or valid legal process.
  • To protect the safety, integrity, and security of users, Prompture, and the public (for example, investigating abuse or enforcing policies).
  • In connection with a business transaction (for example, a merger or acquisition). If this happens, we will provide appropriate notice and choices where required by law.

Data retention

We retain data only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App and for legitimate operational purposes such as:

  • Security and fraud prevention
  • Customer support
  • Dispute resolution and refunds
  • Accounting and compliance obligations
  • Enforcing policies and preventing abuse

Retention can vary by data type. Where feasible, we minimize retained data and may retain it in a de-identified, anonymized, or pseudonymized form.

Pseudonymized data (what this means)

In some cases—especially after an account deletion request is completed—we may retain certain records in a pseudonymized form. This means we remove direct identifiers (like email and username) and break the link to your identity, so the remaining data cannot reasonably be used to identify you. We use pseudonymized data for purposes like analytics, security, preventing abuse, and improving the App.

Account deletion (7-day countdown)

The App includes an in-app account deletion feature. For more information about the deletion process, see our Account Deletion Request page.

How deletion works

  • When you request account deletion, your account enters a 7-day deletion countdown.
  • During this 7-day period, you may be able to cancel the deletion request from within the App (where available).
  • After the 7-day countdown ends, we delete your account and remove personal identifiers.

What happens after the countdown ends

After the 7-day countdown ends, we:

  • Delete your account profile and direct identifiers (for example: email, username, and gender associated with your profile); and
  • Delete or pseudonymize certain remaining records so they are no longer linked to you (for example, usage events, performance metrics, and security signals).

Certain limited records may still be retained when necessary for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, and dispute-resolution purposes. Where feasible, we minimize what is retained and keep it only as long as required.

Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • Access the personal information we have about you
  • Correct or update certain personal information
  • Delete your personal information
  • Object to or restrict certain processing

You can use in-app controls where available. You can also contact us at support@prompture.app for privacy-related requests. We may ask you to verify your identity before completing certain requests.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

International data transfers

We may process and store information on servers located in different countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border data transfers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest version. Material changes will be posted on the policy page and, where appropriate, within the App.
